Meet LAKSHMI
I am an Artist , fashion illustrator and engraver based in Virginia, in the Washington D.C metro area. I am a live wedding painter and live sketch artist at weddings and events. My style is colorful and filled with a sense of movement.
I paint and engrave in my studio. My hand painted art adorn canvas , champagne/ wine bottles, perfume bottles and shoes.
My journey started as a fashion illustrator nearly 10 yearly ago , as I explored sketching high end looks from New York Fashion Week in September 2015.
It opened doors for me that I never imagined and has led me to create art consistently since then . I’ve worked with various luxury brands and created fashion illustrations for Vogue India and Harpers Bazaar India.
I work with luxury brands and stores to create unique experiences for their clients onsite with live sketching , engraving and calligraphy.
I sketch guest portraits at luxury weddings , corporate retreats, company holiday parties .
I engrave onsite on wine and bottles at tastings , corporate retreats and other exclusive events. I love the interactive aspect of live event art . Watching art come to life and interacting with the guests fills me with joy.

I serve clients in Virginia , Maryland , Washington D.C , Philadelphia, Delaware, New Jersey and New York areas and am available to travel to your event to offer my live event art services within the US and internationally.
